Adding iCloud eMail Account:
You can only have one iCloud eMail account. Once created, it cannot be changed. So, create an alias, as an alternative. Go Here: Add and Manage eMail Aliases for iCloud Mail on iCloud.com - Apple Support
Assigning eMail to iCloud Account:
Adding your own eMail Address to your Apple account is not an option that I am aware of. Use multiple eMail accounts in the Mail app's settings for this.
