Updating my MacBookPro mid-15

It appears I cannot upgrade my Mac to Monterey or beyond. Is this correct information?

For a Mid 2015 Monterey is the latest compatible OS for this MAC. If it was mine I would upgrade it to the latest compatible version.

Be aware that if you upgrade to Catalina or later you will also need to update any non-Apple 32-bit apps if you have any.
