What is the meaning of "service recommended" for my battery in Mac Book Air?

The laptop is not being charged well. I noticed that there is a note in the "battery" icon.

Means that your MacBook may need a new battery if so book a appointment with apple to have it serviced iPhone Repair & Service – Apple Support (AU)
