Everything seems to be working, says it's connected in settings and on headphones (Sony). But Music or podcasts plays merrily on their own without the headphones. Anyone else had this problem since update iOS 16.6 on iPhone and MacOS Ventura 13.5 a few days ago?
Phone is fairly new (12, bought 4 months ago)

I'm having the same issue with Sony WF-C500 and Iphone/Ipad. The headphones work fine with an Android phone, but don't work with iOS.
I will ring Apple, see if they have fixed problem, thanks for the feedback :)
My headphones can't connect to my iphone or laptop since last updates.
