what if it does not let me upload on files

my phone was almost running out of storage when i took those pictures. it worked and it was fine when i took the picture. once taken the picture i checked my camera roll, they were just grey saying “unable to upload”. i’ve tried the method you recommended but which was uploading them to files, BUT i couldn’t even do that l. need some help, please i really need those pictures 😭😭
