I am a relatively new Mac user. I have the 24 inch iMac running Ventura 13.4.1. Is there a way to import data such as names, phone numbers, etc., into the create Contacts app so that I can create individual contacts without having to manually input the data myself?

You can import a comma, separated, var file, so export your numbers spreadsheet as CSV.
there is an import command on the file menu, and your CSV needs to be formatted 100% correctly. There is an option to map the fields in your spreadsheet with the fields in Contacts.
