Can genius appt fix water damage to MacBook on the spot?

I’m on a trip. Would a water damaged MacBook be able to be repaired at genius appointment?

Probably not. Water damage is often extensive and ongoing due to corrosion. The computer needs to be inspected by an authorized service center to determine the extent of the damage.
