Comment triangle covers cell data

I have a particular spreadsheet in which comment triangles cover the last portion of the number in the cell, interfering with readability. It also makes it difficult to revise last digit because the cursor triggers the comment box instead.

I've noticed this problem doesn't seem to normally occur in other spreadsheets. Is there a setting that can be changed to correct this?

It should not be overlapping. Is this an imported document? It might have imported a setting that may or may not be adjustable.

One place to look would be the text inset. 4pt is the default. Less than that there may be overlap with the comment triangle.
