How to adjust Apple Vision Pro for a precise fit

How to put on Apple Vision Pro

Your Apple Vision Pro comes with two head bands: the Solo Knit Band and Dual Loop Band. The Solo Knit Band comes attached to your Vision Pro. If you'd like to use the Dual Loop Band, you can remove the Solo Knit Band and attach the Dual Loop Band.

Put on Apple Vision Pro with the Solo Knit Band

  1. Use one hand to hold your device by the frame and hold the Solo Knit Band with the other. Avoid picking up Vision Pro via the Light Seal, Audio Straps, or power cable.
  2. Place the device near your face and slide the Solo Knit Band over the back of your head. With certain hairstyles, you might find it easier to position the head band before pulling the device down over your eyes.
  3. When you have the device on, adjust the Solo Knit Band by turning the Fit Dial clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen. Apple Vision Pro should feel snug but not too tight.
  4. If your head band is too tight, it could cause skin sensitivity, general discomfort, or marks and indentions on your face. Some temporary, light markings are expected after general usage.
  5. If your head band isn’t tight enough or isn’t properly positioned, you might see a message that says that the device is positioned too high or too low. Adjust the device accordingly.

To reduce the risk of injury, remove facial jewelry like nose rings or eyebrow rings before you put on Apple Vision Pro, and don’t use Vision Pro if you have an injury on your nose, face, or head.

Put on Apple Vision Pro with the Dual Loop Band

  1. Use one hand to hold your device by the frame and hold the lower strap of the Dual Loop Band with the other. Avoid picking up Vision Pro via the Light Seal, Audio Straps, or power cable.
  2. Place the device near your face and slide the Dual Loop Band over the back of your head.
  3. Hold Vision Pro to your face with one hand, with even support on your forehead and cheeks.
  4. While continuing to hold Vision Pro to your face, with the other hand, tighten the lower strap first, then tighten the upper strap.
  5. When you have the device on, it should feel snug but not too tight.
  6. If your head band is too tight, it could cause skin sensitivity, general discomfort, or marks and indentions on your face. Some temporary, light markings are expected after general usage.

How to take off Apple Vision Pro

  1. Loosen the head band before removing. For the Solo Knit Band, you can do this by turning the Fit Dial counterclockwise. For the Dual Loop Band, simply pull the tab on the lower strap away from your head so it loosens.
  2. Remove the device by holding the frame — not the Light Seal, Head Band, Audio Straps, or power cable.
  3. When you set down your device, avoid letting the cover glass come into contact with hard surfaces, like a table or countertop. Place the battery near Vision Pro when you’re not using it to protect the power cable from being caught on other objects.
  4. When you're done using Vision Pro, put the cover on.

How to remove or attach your head band

Your Apple Vision Pro comes with two head bands: a Solo Knit Band and a Dual Loop Band.

Solo Knit Band

To remove the Solo Knit Band from Apple Vision Pro, pull the orange tabs located on the inside of both sides of the head band. To reconnect the Solo Knit Band, attach it with the Fit Dial on the right hand side and the size indicator on the inside of the Solo Knit Band on the left hand side. Make sure that each side snaps into place — you should hear or feel a snap when it's attached.

Dual Loop Band

To remove the Dual Loop Band from Apple Vision Pro, pull the orange tabs located on the inside of both sides of the band. To reconnect the Dual Loop Band, attach it with the size indicator on the inside of the Dual Loop Band on the left hand side. Make sure that each side snaps into place — you should hear or feel a snap when it's attached.

How to adjust Apple Vision Pro for a precise fit

When you’re wearing Apple Vision Pro, you should feel balanced support across your cheeks and forehead. The device should feel snug, but not too tight.

Adjust the Solo Knit Band

  • If the head band feels too tight, rotate the Fit Dial counterclockwise and pull the device by the frame away from your face.
  • For an ideal fit, you want even support between your forehead and cheeks. If it’s uneven, then:
