Change Apple ID

My daughter has an IPad and has been using my Apple ID. I would like to give her her own ID now. Not sure how to go about it.

Your child should have their own AppleID to use with its devices - in fact, every user should have their own AppleID. This is essential to maintain intended separation of activities and to avoid unintended sharing of sensitive and data. Done properly, you’ll not have any issues with content related to your child appearing on your own devices or vice-versa.

If preparing an existing iPad for use by someone else, or a different AppleID, you would be well advised to prepare the iPad properly - as this will ensure that an existing Activation Lock, that will inevitably cause issues, is proper removed prior to setup again by the new user:
