How do you check for a virus and or malware?mac safari.

Malware is not a serious problem but it can be detected and removed by the free app Malwarebytes. You may either have it run automatically or manually, which is what I do when I feel it is needed. As for any virus, none can infect a Mac so do not consider installing any antivirus apps. They will (1) relieve you of your money, (2) seriously slow down your computer, and (3) likely cause other problems.
