Why is my phone unable to charge?
I plugged my phone on charge and nothing popped up and later showed me that my battery is not recognized. Please check into it and help rectify it for me

If you already tried (to no avail) ALL the steps provided in this support article:--> If your iPhone or iPod touch won't charge , your battery could be reaching (could have reached) the critical point of its life.
I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device+charger+cable inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> https://locate.apple.com/choose-country-region . After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

- Online:--> Genius Bar Reservation and Apple Support Options - Apple;
- Contacting a local Apple Store or AASP among the list provided above;
- Using the "Apple Store" app, available and downloadable from AppStore.
