My iMac 17.1 is only showing that I have 121GB of storage when I should have 3TB

I can't seem to find the 3 TB of storage I should have on my iMac 17.1. All I can see is 121GB on a Flash storage. How do I find and use my full storage on the Mac?

iMac 27″, macOS 10.12

There are other aspects to address using different replacement drives

from great third party (OWC, etc.) Some also have 'thermal sensors' to

add, where a replacement SSD/HDD may not include one as OEM did.
