Can I use a remote for the Apple TV model 2169 with an older Apple TV model 1625?

If they are Apple TV 4 you can use them but you have to pair the remote control ,take a look at this link and you can learn how to pair it

If you have the 3rd generation Siri Remote, it is compatible with 1st-to-3rd generation 4K models and the Apple TV HD (which came with a 2nd gen Siri Remote).
