Hello bprows,

Apple News is readable on Apple devices, as explained here: Get the news on all your Apple devices. It is not available to be read on a PC or other non-Apple device.

We hope this helps. Let us know if we can assist with anything else at all. Take care.

How convenient for Apple and other major players, like Amazon, to restrict access to their own OS and apps. I can access iCloud on my Pixelbook and Windows laptop, but the News app doesn't appear. How wonderful for Apple to restrict my iCloud + news, which I pay monthly. I, like others, have fought this battle among major content content providers, from Microsoft to Apple to Google. How convenient. This is similar to the Net neutrality battle fought by ISP providers for decades. Purchased content or ad-supported content should be accessible to all on any device supported by the major browsers. But, of course, the major content dominators want you to use their apps--not browsers. Kudos to Microsoft for multiple access to Office 365.
