i forgot my ipod touch password

I had and old iPod touch I don't use anymore i wanna turn it on and use it but I cant cause I don't remember my password. I wanna recover the stuff saved inside.

Unless you have a back-up on your computer, you will not be able to recover what is on the iPod. Bypassing the passcode requires erasing everything on the iPod. See: If you forgot your iPod touch passcode - Apple Support
