Battery health

Hi I’ve had my IPhone 12 for 9 months and the battery health is at 87%, I would like to know if it’s normal, or should I change it and is there any warranty?

You iPhone 12 was probably manufactured 3 years ago. It may be new to you (9 months) but its battery had to be in operation longer than that. Having said that, Your battery health is fine and is undergoing normal usage. iPhone batteries, like all rechargeable batteries, are consumable components that become less effective as they age. You should change out the battery once your Battery Health reaches below 80%.
