When we are busy with something it is possible that we miss some part of important calls or could not make notes out of that call.
With call recording we can listen to that call later on and do the needful.
It is an important feature and Apple should start it.

There are separate apps/services to do call recording in many countries. They are not free. You’re welcome to use one of those if you like.

That will most likely never be a native feature of the iphone as call recording is illegal or heavily regulated in most places. Coming up with a version of that as a feature that would be legal in all markets where the device is sold would be impossible.
You would have to subscribe to a 3rd party service, which would involve routing your calls through the 3rd party in order to accomplish that.
In India we have Samsung mobiles and others recording calls.
If not then there should be a separate app so that it is not a burden to Apple.
