How to add apple fitness across apple devices

I have the apple fitness app on iPhone and want to add it to my iPad

iPhone 11, iOS 16

Devices you can use with Apple Fitness+ - Apple Support

But that requires a subscription to Fitness+. I don't believe the standard fitness app is available for the iPad.

Makes sense BUT iPad App store lists BOTH ... I agree it is NOT on the iPad download ... only Fitness+... sad but true and Apple should explain this better...
