iOS 17 and the upcoming iOS 18 require an iPhone XS, iPhone XR, iPhone SE 2nd gen, or later.

iPhone X and earlier are not supported on iOS 17 and later.

it depends on your iphone’s model. If you re eligible for the update you need to keep your phone in charge and connect it to a wifi if it still doesn’t work change the network. and you should also have enough space on your device.
