When I follow the instructions, my iPhone 8 still does not allow me to remove applications. I may have a setting that prevents it. What might that be?

Please check: Settings - Screen Time - Content & Privacy Restrictions - iTunes & App Store Purchases - Deleting Apps = Allow.

Is Deleting Apps marked Allow? If not change the setting to show Allow
