I read somewhere that you can secure your iPhone even better by creating a 4-digit code somewhere in the settings. This means that someone who does not know that code cannot turn off location services, so that the location of my phone remains visible for retrieval.
I don't remember where I entered that code and I now can no longer change anything in the location services, including apps...

I am able again to change the settings of location services.
In IOS16 I had to set a 4-digit code to lock the settings of location services and I had to use this code to unlock it again.
In IOS17 I could unlock this without the 4-digit key; it's weird to me.
