Apple won’t let me update my payment method since it expired, and I only have the one card, just updated cvv.

I got a notification that I need to update my payment method since I’m using icloud storage, but Apple won’t let me update the payment method (the card cvv since my old card expired and I have the same card number) or remove it to add the card with updated information. I don’t have a credit card, only this one debit card. I need help because I can’t access the app store or anything due to this. please help :(
