I used to be able to drag and drop document into files on my MacBook Pro desktop and after the update it now won't work? I have tried changing the settings and nothing seems to work...
Relaunching Finder (🍎 > Force Quit > Finder > Relaunch) was the solution that worked for me.
I believe in 15 onward (As of Dec 30, 2024) that you can quit with CMD+Q and it's persistent.

I don't see a "Force Click and haptic feedback" in the trackpad settings for Sonoma.

This does work for me. However, it's annoying that we should have to do this. I wonder if there's a separate setting somewhere that says that a hard click acts like a double click.
