How to straighten photos?

Until now, every time I wanted to straighten a photo, I would go to Edit and Crop, then a wheel would appear next to the photo. I could turn that the direction and amount I wanted to straighten a photo. That wheel no longer appears, and I do not see any way to straighten the photo. If I click on the word Straighten, it magnifies the size of the photo, but does not really level it out.

In the most recent versions of Photos the wheel has been replaced by a slider.

  • Open the photo in edit mode, click the Crop tab, then drag the straighten slider, until the photo has the right orientation.
  • The straighten slider is located at the top op the pane with the adjustment sliders.
