Help: Connect iPad Air 2 to Apple Thunderbolt Display

Hi,

I'm trying to connect an iPad Air 2 (lightning connector) to an Thunderbolt Display (USB ports, Thunderbolt, FireWire ports). Is that possible? I know both are a older models, but looking to make use of having this display.

Thanks for all the help!

Your iPad Air2 fundamentally does not support connection of Thunderbolt or FireWire devices. If you wish to connect to an external monitor, you will need to use an appropriate HDMI or VGA Adapter and monitor.
