If you are indeed running on MacOS 10.10, it was released in October, 2014. Updates to Safari are typically done thru MacOS updates. You didn't mention what model your Mac is. To check, go to Apple Menu-->About This Mac and let us know.

You do have the option of installing a different browser app, such as Firefox, Brave, Chrome, etc. These other browsers are independent of the MacOS, so may be a better option for you.
