My husband has misplaced his iPhone. We are trying to find it using my find my phone app. No luck. Any ideas?

I'm sorry to hear that your husband lost his iPhone. Here are some steps you can take:

1. Use "Find My" App: Make sure that you are using the "Find My" app on your device. This app can help you locate the lost iPhone if it's connected to the internet.

2. Sign In: Ensure that you are signed in with the same Apple ID that is used on the lost iPhone.

3. Check iCloud.com: You can also try logging into iCloud.com and use the "Find iPhone" feature from a web browser.

4. Play Sound: If the device is nearby, you can use the "Play Sound" feature in the app to make the iPhone play a sound, which can help you locate it.

5. Mark as Lost: If the iPhone contains sensitive information, consider marking it as lost through the app. You can remotely lock it with a passcode and display a message with your contact information.

6. Erase as a Last Resort: If you're concerned about your data, you can remotely erase the iPhone using the app. This should be a last resort, as it will delete all data on the device.

7. Contact Apple: If you're unable to locate the iPhone using these methods, contact Apple Support for further assistance.

Remember that the lost iPhone needs to be connected to the internet for these methods to work.
