Connecting 2 pairs of AirPods to a Macbook

I want to connect two pairs of AirPods to my MacBook Air. I know we can do this on the iPhone, but idk if it's possible to do in the Mac.

Using 2 Pairs of AirPods on a Computer:

No. This is not possible. It is the way Bluetooth is designed.
