ios 17.1 update on iPhone 14 Pro max

After doing the update, my internet is barely working. Can't load pictures on Facebook, it's taking a half hour to update three apps and web pages are taking forever to load. I know it's not my cellular signal because my iPad is working fine, but I haven't updated that to 17.1 yet. I'm actually afraid to update it now. I've never had a problem with updates in the past.
