Non Apple displays

Hello Group, I'm thinking of replacing my old iMac; I have a perfectly good keyboard and mouse but can't run an OS later than High Sierra . I need 1TB of storage — my current thought is a Mac Mini with a non-Apple display, and 24" is about the maximum size for the space.

Can anyone recommend a display that I won't find deeply disappointing compared with Apple's?

If you can find a 24" monitor with UHD 4K (3840x2160) pixel resolution, that would give you pixel spacing almost as tight as on a 24" 4.5K Retina iMac, and you could run the monitor in Retina "like 1920x1080" mode.

The trouble is finding 4K monitors that small. Most 4K monitors range from 27" – 32".

This one has better color gamut coverage – 98% of DCI P3, instead of not-so-great 72% of NTSC (without even a sRGB coverage rating). It requires Thunderbolt input (maybe it's the 24" 4K LG monitor that Apple used to sell, or at least, a close relative?) and goes for about twice the price.
