17.1.1 update contact issues

Apple needs to revert the Contact photo upgrade back to the way it worked before. The new functionality along with the “poster” concept is useless. I got so frustrated with trying to manually edit my contact photos back to the previous format that I just quit adding photos to my Contacts all together.

I totally hate the new contact update!!! Next time please give us a choice next time. Your ideas are Not for everyone!! Please take us back to the old contact format!!

Is it possible to change it back to how contacts looked before upgrade

That is how the iOS 17 contact posters feature works, there's nothing to correct.

How do you add info from a new contact? More specifically, a new person text me. I tried clicking info to create a new contact and that option is not available. Thank you for your help.

update: I figured it out. You have to scroll waaaaaaay down. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Then tell Apple; we're just fellow users here and cannot change anything.
