Is it possible to set my screenshots to automatically delete after saving to photos? Once I click 'save to photos', I am unable to click on the trash can, and I am stuck with an unwanted screenshot on my desktop.
Earlier Mac models
Press Command-Shift-5, click Options and set the screenshots to open with Preview.
Then when you take a screenshot, Preview opens with that screenshot and you can share to Photos. Close and don't save.

Simply change the Save Location! :)
That doesn't delete the screen shot.
