Download the Apple TV app from the Google Play Store. Open the newly installed app.
To sign in to the Apple TV app on third party devices, navigate to the in-app Settings (⚙️), go to Accounts, and enter your Apple ID account credentials there.

I just got a new Google TV but have not set it up to use that function. I do believe AppleTV may not be available on a Google version.
If you have the AppleTV app installed, you should be able to sign in through that.
I do find this blog which seems to suggest it is available, maybe it will help. It is a site I have not spent much time in, so be careful.
