Magic Keyboard and where to store iPad Pro stylus
I’d love to get a Magic Keyboard. My question and concern is what to do with my iPad Pro stylus? I know it’s magnetic and can sit on the screen, but what about travel?
While an second generation Apple Pencil can be magnetically docked with the host iPad when used with a Magic Keyboard - and the Pencil will be held by its magnets with the keyboard folded - the Pencil can be easily dislodged.
Other than the Pencil's own magnet, the Magic Keyboard is not designed to physically retain an Apple Pencil.
As such, if you are concerned, you might be best advised to detach the Pencil while travelling - and keep the pencil someplace safe.
