Removing MDM

My school MDM my iPad. I bought my iPad in apple store. How can i remove it? I did click on General > VPN&Device Management but I cannot find the remove button. I even clicked on the profile of the device management but I still cannot find the button. I could find the button before I updated my iPad to IOS 17.1. I want to get rid of the MDM (my school uses ESP Student) and get my App Store back. It is very creepy to think my school is stalking me everyday with my own iPad.

Devices that are supervised/configuration locked by an MDM platform can usually only be released from central management by the platform that manages the device. Be aware that Apple will not assist with removal of management profiles.


Unless you are lucky - and have the option to delete the profile from iPad Settings - you’ll need to seek assistance directly from the System Administrator who manages the device.
