On iPhone when trying to update apps I am asked to enter my password for an old Apple id. As a result I am unable to finish all the updates. How tomresolve?

App store continues to show apps that are not updated on my iPhone 8. It asks me to sign in with password on an old Apple ID. I am already signed in with my current user Apple ID.. Need to have update stop asking for old information.

Apps, media, and other content cannot be migrated.

Delete the apps, and re-download them from your current Apple ID.

Not going to happen. If the apps you are trying to update were downloaded/purchased under the old Apple ID they are tied to that Apple ID. There should be almost no reason to change Apple IDs.

The only thing you might try is to delete those apps, make sure you are signed in to the App Store under the new Apple ID and download them again. If these are paid apps you will might be forced to pay for them again.
