Internet Sharing not working on Mac.

I want to share an internet connection from a USB-C Ethernet Adapter over the built-in Wi-Fi on my MacBook Pro. I can enable it, set an SSID, Password, etc, and the network is detected on other devices, but I cannot join the network. it just shows the loading icon forever and never connects from other devices. I have tried to connect from multiple iPhones and iPads with no luck. is there any way to fix this?

Here are some troubleshooting methods I have tried:

Restarted my Mac

Change the Wi-Fi channel

Changed the name and password of the Wi-Fi

My Mac is a 2021 14" MacBook Pro, M1 Pro.

Same problem here. MacBook Air M2, 2022, macOS 14.5. Can't connect to the shared network.
