I have been trying all day to get my IMac to connect to my internet. My WiFi is on AND connected to my Vic cable internet, yet my IMac cannot connect, giving. E the message “www.google.com refused to connect”. I have turned off my firewall, reset my cable modem several times and had the company reset it remotely (successfully) as well.
yet Google Chrome or any other function (email, updates, etc.) are not working
HELP!

Is the time and date on your mac correct? Most of the times when you have these kind of networking issues your date and time on the mac are not correct
