How to fix the "Apple ID not yet used in iTunes Store" error?

I have such a problem, when I try to download some kind of program, the message appears. This Apple ID has not yet been used in the iTunes Store.

I have already created another account and it has the same problem. It was the same with Resetting the system, nothing helps, I really need to fix it.

The error message "This Apple ID has not yet been used in the iTunes Store" usually occurs when you're attempting to download an app for the first time using a new Apple ID. This isn't an error per se, but rather a prompt to set up your Apple ID for the App Store.

To resolve this issue, you'll need to complete the initial setup process for your Apple ID. Here's how to do it:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top of the screen.
  3. Tap Media & Purchases.
  4. Sign in to your Apple ID if prompted.
  5. If you haven't already, enter your billing and shipping information. You can choose to enter a valid credit card or select "None" if you don't plan on making purchases.
  6. Tap Review.
  7. Review your account information and tap Accept.

Once you've completed these steps, you should no longer encounter the error message "This Apple ID has not yet been used in the iTunes Store" when downloading apps.

The resolution to this issue is often making sure you have entered a credit card or other valid method of payment* even if you plan on using account balance to pay for a purchase or the item is free.

If there is an option to select "Review" or "Continue", select that and enter valid payment information if required. If there's problems doing this:

On a mobile device tap: Settings > [your name at the top] > Media & Purchases > View Account > Manage Payments > Add Payment Method.

Alternatively this document explains how to 'Add a payment method to your Apple ID' on an Apple mobile device, a Mac, or a PC; click here --> Add a payment method to your Apple ID - Apple Support

If you continue to have problems contact Official Apple Support - Select your region from the list and then your country from the pop-up window. If you do not see your country, see if there is an "other" listing for that region.

For all of you being blocked by App Store even if you entered a valid payment method and shipping address, do the following (God this is so bad UX!) from a Mac (a similar approach should be taken if you use other Apple devices):

  1. open the "System settings" from top left corner;
  2. Select your account (considering you're logged in);
  3. Now from here I managed to get redirected to the browser for an Apple web page and then again redirected to the "Music" app (where you should "verify" your App Store account); since I don't recall which one of the submenus I used, you should try either with "Multimedia files and purchases" (or something similar.. I have another language atm) or "Payment and Shipping".

Yes the UX is very bad: the App Store application was blocking me from proceeding with my data submition for no reason at all (the "Continue" button kept being greyed out after pushing it).
