IPhone volume goes to max when charging?

Every time I plug my iPhone in my volume goes to the max volume. I do not get why it happens.

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 13

Except plugging a lightening cable in to charge when volume is low or all the way down does increase the volume on my phone and the original posters phone. My guess is this is a feature for headphones. When you plug in headphones the volume is adjusted to default headphone volume. This is probably carried over with use of lightening cord for charging. Im not sure if this happens because I use a 3rd party lightening cord or if this happens with the official apple cord. I just know that I turn my volume down when Im in the bedroom and my wife is asleep, and when I plug the charger in I suddenly have to turn it down again or else the next video to pop up in social media is going to blast loudly and wake her up. This is specifically a cause and effect with the charging cord

The act of charging an iPhone does not have any discernible impact on the modulation of audio volume. These two processes are entirely independent of each other, and there is no causative relationship between the charging activity and alterations in the audio output level. In other words, charging your iPhone does not influence or bring about any changes in the volume of the audio being played on the device. The charging process and audio volume control operate autonomously, each unaffected by the status or activity of the other.

SravanKra,

The word missing from your explanation is 'should'. The effect of charging should have no impact on audio volume. And one thing should not affect the other. Yet, the effects are reproducible. I assure you those people are not experiencing hallucinations. I happen to be one of them. I'm in the habit of asking Siri on my iPhone to turn off a few lights before retiring to bed. Having put my phone on charge and climbed into bed, I ask Siri the time of my morning alarm and, suddenly, Siri is speaking so loud the neighbours can hear it. This happens every single night. Hence my coming on here to find if others are experiencing the same thing. Evidently, they are.
