Old Mac forgot password how to reset
I have an old Mac OS X. I want to log in and retrieve old pics from this computer but I’ve forgotten the password used for this specific computer. Can someone tell me how to reset?

That makes it hard to help you here. Apple have released easily hundreds of model variants since macOS X was released 24 years ago. Please give a more complete description of your device and how old it is so we can effectively help you in this setting where we can neither see nor touch your computer.
We need at minimum:
- the Mac model iMac, MacBook Pro, Mac Mim=ni, etc)
- its sub-model (the part with a year)
- and the OS version with the decimal (ex: 10.4; 10.15, etc).
On most Macs these are readily available from "About this Mac.." Example:
