Hi GM, since 2 or 3 days my FACE ID suddenly stopped working, i feel since i activated Stolen Device Protection my face id isn't working.
I am unable to even Reset Face ID since it is not recognizing my face ID.
Due to this i am facing lot of difficulties to access my banking applications.

Face ID no longer works after activating Stolen Device Protection in iPhone 13. I can’t turn off face id, I cant reset it or add a different appearance and I can’t turn off the stolen device protection. I’ve updated software, backed everything up, there is nothing covering the camera and I did a few hard resets with no luck. This seems to have occurred after the recent software update.
How can I turn off Stolen Device Protection if Face ID is not working?

i haven’t stole the iphone is mine and just that my face id is disable, i want to turn my stolen activation off
I’m having the exact same problem and it’s like apple doesn’t pay attention to any of these comments.

It worked for me when I used Face ID in a room without light
my iPhone has stopped recognising my Face ID but I can’t reset it because stolen protection is on and that requires Face ID to turn it off
The problem with my iPhone not recognising my face was as simple as needing to wipe the black bar at the top of the screen with a clean cloth! Thank you Apple Support who I phoned for help.
