The starting sound of my old Macintosh II

I found this old Mac in my warehouse and bleached it. I remember I used it around 1987 when I started my career. It did not turn on before I changed batteries. When I pushed the start button again, it turned on but no screen. And the starting sound was different from the normal one. What does this sound mean? Any one know this?

The sound sounded like "normal sound->do->mi->sol->do". I could not attach the movie clip including sound.

Where can I get the OS if the HDD was out of order?

Hi,

Probably an error sound indicating a bad SIMM.

Make sure that the computer has been turned off. Disconnect the power cable. Disconnect any external SCSI devices.

On the logic board, check/reseat the SIMMs (RAM).

Also check that the logic board is clean, and that there are not any discoloured/cracked components or leaking/bulging electrolytic capacitors.
