Garageband Experiencing Input Latency on only one project

I'm recording a home studio album, and one project in particular has suddenly started having a latency issue. less than a second. I've turned off all plugins, merged audios so there's less tracks, deleted unnecessary files off the Macbook Air (2012). Any suggestions? It is is just the one project, every other project using the setup works fine.
