First time I'm experiencing this issue, but can't get Garageband open. First time this started was with the software updates I mentioned. It just gets stuck on the menu item 'searching for audio unit plug-ins.' Can't change preferences in GB, tried restarting my cpu and tried deleting and reinstalling GB. Same issue when i tried to open it on a guest profile.

I'm experiencing the same issue. I just got the 2023 Mac m2 on 3/17 and Garageband was working perfectly fine. I go to try and open it today (3/18) and now i'm having this same exact issue. Ive tried uninstalling it, restarting my computer, disconnecting everything, yet i'm still getting the spinning ball of death.
Garageband version 10.4.11 won't open with new mac OS Sonoma 14.4
