Any text file input for garageband? Like fluidsynth has ... (API?)

I have the 1812 overture in an ancient IMS/GCS text format. And a Python script to convert to "fluidsynth" control input. (Midi has 15-ish voice/instrument/note limit. Need 63 instruments.)

Does Garageband have any text file (or API) for creating/playing in a similar manner?

I cannot find a canon and church bells that are reasonable in fluidsynth GM instruments. I'm an old 'text' programmer (think vi/make/etc. in Terminal). I can convert/modify/change/add/delete different formats -- need API -- as what I've with fluidsynth.
