Mac Studio Cold Temperature

Hello,

I just purchased a Mac Studio. I love everything about it so far but I have one question.

My room where I live sometimes gets down to 58 degrees. Is this too low of temperature to keep operating a silicone Mac Studio?

Thanks for any reply in advance

  • Line voltage: 100–240V AC
  • Frequency: 50Hz to 60Hz, single phase
  • Maximum continuous power: 370W
  • Operating temperature: 50° to 95° F (10° to 35° C)
  • Storage temperature: –40° to 116° F (–40° to 47° C)
  • Relative humidity: 5% to 95% noncondensing
  • Operating altitude: tested up to 16,400 feet (5000 meters)

Not a problem.

But as it only throw 370 Watts Max, you may still need a space heater if you sit in there.

With MacBooks that are more portable, the risk is not so much low temperatures, but the possibility of bringing a chilled MacBook in to a warm MOIST environment and having condensation form on the cold aluminum before it warms up properly.
