Screaming Sound on Distortion Amps, Irig, and Electric Guitar on GarageBand MacBook Pro

Hello,

Today on my MacBook Pro I was on GarageBand with my guitar. I plugged in my iRig device with my headphones and guitar cord. When I was in GarageBand, I selected the amp track to put it in distortion, and then all of a sudden my headphones or guitar started making that screaming sound. The sound of it is so loud and unusual.

Is there anything how to fix it and get rid of that screaming distortion sound?
