How to Split Two Microphone Recordings from One Track in GarageBand?

I recently encountered a challenge while recording with GarageBand. I had to record audio from two microphones simultaneously, but due to constraints, they both went into a single channel. Now I have a single track with audio from two sources, and I need to split them into separate tracks for editing.

Is there any method or tool within GarageBand that would allow me to separate these two audio sources after the fact?
